To celebrate its 10 Year Anniversary, Centre for Arts and Technology is pleased to announce that they will be awarding scholarships totaling $475,000. To apply for a scholarship, students are asked to fill out an application concluding with a short essay detailing where they see themselves in 10 years time.
“Ten years marks a milestone that companies rarely see,” says Centre for Arts and Technology President Martin Theiss. “We now have almost 10 years of graduates working in the industry, as well as a proven track record for quality education and commitment to our students and staff. Our philosophy, to empower people through education, goes beyond that of just regular schooling. We have successfully integrated education that not only teaches students the skills to technically master their professions, but also to help them positively contribute to their industries and to society as a whole. That is what we call real education and that is what we are celebrating with these scholarships.”
The school will also be awarding a $10,000 President’s Scholarship to a deserving recipient who has demonstrated passion, determination, and a commitment to his or her future industry of choice.
Scholarships will be awarded to students who enroll in one of the following programs starting in July or October 2012: Animation for Game, Film, & Visual Effects, Audio Engineering & Production, Digital Filmmaking, Event & Promotions Management, Fashion Design & Merchandising, Graphic Design & Web Development, Interior Design, Veterinary Hospital Assistant, or Network Security.
