CBC has announced the four remaining contestants in their Searchlight contest, and Cranbrook’s Good Ol Goats are proud to hold one of the top four spots!
The band will now be competing head to head with Henry Norwood from Ottawa in hopes of making it to the finals to face either Poor Angus from Hamilton or Sherman Downey and The Ambiguous Case from St. John’s.
The teenage band from Cranbrook is a talented bunch with their mature, heartfelt lyrics and folk inspired instrumentals. They are competing against three other bands now in hopes of taking home the grand prize of being featured in a CBC Music Video session, performing at the CBC Music Festival in Toronto and receiving $20,000 worth of music equipment, courtesy of Yamaha Canada Music.
Voting for this round closes on Sunday, April 7th at midnight ET and the top two bands will be announced on Monday, April 8th.
