On April 20th-21st come and visit the Centre for Arts and Technology at the 2013 Vancouver Fan Expo!
This event highlights celebrities, artists, collectibles and workshops amongst the newest and hottest in Anime, Manga, Comics, Sci-Fi, Film, Television, Gaming and Horror.
While you are there, be sure to visit the Centre for Arts and Technology at booth #501. Sean Ridgway, Department Head for the Animation Programs, and your friendly neighborhood CATO team members, Kristin Stratulat and Ivan Sampson, will be at your service all weekend long. There will be inspiring student work on display in Digital Filmmaking and Animation and if you are thinking of becoming a Network Security Administrator, come and talk to Kristin and Ivan about the rewarding careers you can pursue.
Some major highlights at our booth will feature a unique, creative opportunity for you to promote your skills at digital painting, allowing you to print your masterpiece and take it home. Chat with CATO alumni about their industry success and on Sunday, noted animation professional and book author, Chris Mizzoni will be on hand to sign copies of his latest published work ‘The Sterling Seven’. Get an autographed copy of his book, take a picture or just chat with Chris about his industry exploits!
So be sure to check us out and inquire about our awesome new 2D program and the exciting opportunities for employment right in the Okanagan. Also check out a fellow CATO instructor and Okanagan resident, Jorden Oliwa from Gonzo Nation at booth #H8 in Artist Alley, promoting his latest artwork.
