Born and raised in Regina, Jordan Marlin started life after high school graduation like many others – he got a job working for Telus, but quickly realized that there was something missing. He didn’t feel content. He felt as though he should be doing something more – that he should be pursuing a passion, and that passion is Digital Filmmaking.
Once he came to this conclusion, he made one of the biggest life decisions he’d ever have to make. He packed up his things and decided to move to Kelowna to pursue Digital Filmmaking at Centre for Arts and Technology.
Having always been somewhat of an entertainer, Jordan quickly made strong bonds with his classmates and instructors. As time went on, Jordan began to feel increasingly comfortable being the center of attention which led him to thrive in the Digital Filmmaking program.
Jordan became the student leadership council rep for the Filmmaking program and has since completed the Digital Filmmaking program.
Jordan claims he learned everything he needs to know to succeed in the industry from CATO. We couldn’t feel more privileged to have such an energetic, creative and inspiring student and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
