I am working on a project for a photo essay surrounding beauty. People always judge first by appearance, not knowing what else lies underneath and what they’ve been through. So, I decided to show two sides of the same model – how other people view them and how they actually feel on the inside.
Mental health can be an invisible pain that people always try and hide, but can feel just as real as physical pain. Presenting yourself to people can feel heavy like a full face of make-up.
