Duty Calls! 

High school students in grades 10 – 12, as well as recent high school grads are invited to join us on March 24th – 27th 2024 to explore our arts and technology programs! Follow the easy steps below to register: 

  1. Review Missions Descriptions (noted below) 
  2. Choose Your Mission 
  3. Register Online * 
  4. Pay Registration Fee ** 

* Registration deadline is February 28th, 2025. Register early to qualify for a discounted registration rate. ** Register on or before December 31st, 2024, to pay the ‘early bird’ registration fee of $225. Registrations received after this date must pay the full fee of $250.  

Here’s Why You Should Attend: 

  1. YOU will get to experience four days in the life of a CAT student and explore careers in arts and technology 
  2. YOU will learn new hands-on skills from industry pros 
  3. YOU will join a squad of like-minded creatives 
  4. It’s FUN! 

You’ll also receive a completion certificate for the 4 days which can often be used towards high school graduation requirements! * Win Win! (*Please inquire with your high school to see if this applies)

The ceremony will take place on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at the Kelowna Community Theatre (1375 Water Street, Kelowna). Event timing is currently TBA, but we are planning on an afternoon ceremony.

What’s the Global Game Jam, you ask? It’s a 48-hour explosion of creativity where artists, musicians, animators, coders, and designers come together to craft mind-blowing video games!

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, this is YOUR chance to bring your ideas to life and collaborate with a global community of like-minded creators. Artists, coders, developers, musicians, designers, writers, sound designers… all are welcome!

Open to anyone 18+. This event is free to attend but spots are limited so make sure to register through the button below to claim your seat!
